This Special Discussion Forum was developed in conjunction with the presentation of a special 13 week series, entitled CREDO 13, on Maimonides' Principles of Faith that orginally aired in Ontario, in Spring 2005, on Sunday evenings, at 10:00 pm, on CTS. While this Discussion Forum is presented in connection with this program, viable participation in it is not limited to those who have seen the show.

The second principle is that God is One. The Oneness of God is, perhaps, the very defining statement of the Jewish belief. What most do not recognize is the significance of this declaration. It is not simply that there is no other god besides God. It is a statement on the very nature of God -- that He is a simple Unity. He is not only One but also a Oneness. This is most difficult to understand but necessary, to reach Torah's objectives, for us to contemplate.
