This Special Discussion Forum was developed in conjunction with the presentation of a special 13 week series, entitled CREDO 13, on Maimonides' Principles of Faith that orginally aired in Ontario, in Spring 2005, on Sunday evenings, at 10:00 pm, on CTS. While this Discussion Forum is presented in connection with this program, viable participation in it is not limited to those who have seen the show.
The Fourth Principle is that God is Eternal.Our very language is inadequate in describing this attribute of God. While we say that God is first and He is last, He is the beginning and He is the end, there is weakness in these descriptions because they are built on time. This principle ultimately declares that God is above time. Time itself is a creation of God. As such, He is above everything. He is the Creator and not subject to the laws of this world but is above these laws.
